I sometimes find my own “soft spot” (that well of compassion) in the most mundane/basic times of my day.

You are not tethered to anything unless you think you are.

These are the adventures that realize the possibilities of the human spirit.

It matters less the exact work you’re doing right now, but more that you’re showing up to learn from whatever it is you’re doing.

Feed what needs to be fed. Find where the disturbance is coming from and learn from it. You’ll likely live, but you may not be the you…the “you” you used to believe in.

Sometimes we might think something is “wrong” because of an influx of power, and if we’re used to exhausting a lot of power, we may think something is “wrong” when we’re not exhausting ourselves like we’re used to.

In a culture obsessed with how things “seem”, we have the opportunity to understand through experience what actually works and what they tells us about how we work.

I recently completed a course on the basics of Shamanism through The Foundation for Shamanic Studies.

Goals worthy of a life’s work stem from a personal understanding that can more deeply relate.

Our lives get better because we start doing life differently.

In unfolding as conscious beings with bodies we realize the responsibility of maintaining healthy balance in our bodies, minds, and lives…and that these are not necessarily separate things.

We can feel like we’re kind of lost when we’re struggling to understand how our circumstances are aligning us while we’re realizing our power to affect our circumstances for a greater purpose.

Longing for something we don’t know how to describe.

Death is an experience. It is more than a feeling and sensation.

A blade is not designed for use without thought. A blade does a job no other tool can pretend to do. A blade separates exactly where it is aimed/intended and does it as quickly and effectively as possible…I didn’t say “comfortably”.

The mysteries are something that reveal themselves in language of the soul.

Sometimes we go through seasons where we feel we have a comfortable rhythm and our needs are met. Sometimes we find ourselves seemingly thrust into a dark hole that the only way to not be overwhelmed by the darkness is to seek to understand it.
