Revealing
Revealing can feel painful.
Some might say that part of “healing” feels painful.
All this time we thought there was something we needed to change, manufacture, or require.
All this time we were not listening to someone or something that needed to be embraced.
Revealing is painful. It hurts shedding something so woven into us that we now have no desire for. It will “hurt” less the sooner we listen, let it go, let it be.
We might learn that honesty doesn’t hurt, once we try it and get out of the way. What does hurt is pretending anything else.
We have been poked and prodded and cracked-open this year. I don’t believe this is an assault on mankind. My hunch is it is a revealing.
Grace & Peace,
